Get a closer look at project visuals
You can download images of the proposed offshore wind farm here.
All visuals are based on draft designs, are indicative only and subject to change.
It’s important to note that we’re in the development phase. Final decisions about the number, height and layout of turbines have not yet been made. We're currently considering turbines in the 271 m-350 m tip height range. We'll select a turbine only after all investigations and assessments are complete.
Turbines will be fitted with marine and aviation safety lighting. Visualisations below show indicative lighting, pending the confirmation of lighting requirements from relevant authorities.
Government approvals will be needed for Star of the South to proceed to construction.

Check out our interactive map, designed to show the project in 3D from different locations, at any time of day and under different weather conditions.
It features digital renderings showing how Star of the South could look from key locations in an accessible format.
Distances, heights and topography are exact. Buildings, sand, waves and vegetation are artists’ impressions.
You can access a more immersive 3D digital model in our Gippsland office.
